BGMI Roster of Gods Reign Disbands

Gods Reign had a great season winning the Villager Esports Pro Invitational 2023 and standing as the runners-up of the India-Korea Invitational. Apart from these outstanding performances, the team showed great consistency in the last quarter of the year.

Their efforts resulted in them taking the third spot on our BGMI Team Rankings with a total of 61.17 points to their name. This was not a bad finish at all considering how the circuit was mostly dominated by Blind Esports and Gladiator Esports.

After BGMI’s return, Gods Reign was one of the first teams to announce its lineup by acquiring the former TSM roster. The team did not undergo a lot of changes with Owais joining the lineup in late October and Robin moving out of it a month later.

Now, the remaining four players have also been bid a warm farewell as the organization looks to revamp ahead of the 2024 circuit.

As per heavy speculations by various sources, it seems that Gods Reign might be looking to sign the recently departed Gladiator Esports lineup.

This team will be specially remembered for its performance at the BGIS 2023 where they played in front of a packed stadium in Mumbai and fought real hard to finish fifth.

The players really came together well in this particular event after showing promise at the Upthrust Esports Pro Showdown Season 2 and BGMS Season 2, where they finished 4th and 5th respectively.

The best thing is that Gods Reign’s managed to main its consistency for a considerable duration of time, peaking at the India-Korea Invitaitonal where they went toe-to-toe against some of the best teams from both countries to bag a well deserved second place finish.

Commenting on this development, Owais mentioned that he always wanted to play with this lineup but his desire remains unfulfilled, thanking everyone for supporting them.

Other players also made wholesome statements on their respective social media pages, thanking the organization for the support and hoping that their paths cross again in the future.

It is clear that the players will not be sticking together and it will be interesting to see which organization picks them up for the upcoming competitive season.
